In 2017, HUD provided CDBG-DR funding to establish the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program to help residents affected by the prior year’s floods. Dynamic served as a prime contractor responsible for scope review and modification, researching permit and inspection history, obtaining required permits, and managing environmental and safety risk by implementing safety and environmental work plans for each job. These pre-construction meetings also help set expectations between the homeowner and contractor, and we train our team members to manage each and every homeowner with care and consideration.
Dynamic was as the exclusive contractor for reconstruction projects, and we served as one of the prime contractors for rehabilitation projects. We also provided environmental lead testing across the program. Dynamic prepared over 800 preconstruction assessments, 3,000 lead-based paint assessments and clearances, and completed over 400 work orders totaling $12 million.
