Beta Tester
Dynamic Learning Online strives to provide quality online courses and to do this they need people like you to help review online courses to ensure quality standards. “Beta testers” can take a Dynamic Learning Online course for FREE in exchange for filling out a time log and quality standards form.
Purpose of Beta Testers
The most important role of “Beta Testers” is to help determine contact hours appropriate to award for a course. Beta testers also help to make sure all course mechanisms, such as Internet links, course links, and exams, work correctly.
Qualifications of Beta Testers
Beta testers must be learners who are in the course’s “target (or intended) audience”. Speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and recreational therapists are among those professionals who may serve as beta testers.
Duties
Beta testers are required to keep a time log in order to help determine the appropriate number of contact hours to award. Beta testers also complete a quality standards form documenting “problems” with the course and course mechanisms so that Dynamic Learning Online can “fix these problems” before offering the course to the general public.
Reward
Beta testers will receive credit towards any course(s) in the DLO library of comparable value.
