Victoria (Vicki) S.T. Tilley PT,GCS - Vicki is currently the founder
and president of ElderFit Physical Therapy and Consulting, Inc. a
physical therapy practice providing home based therapy services and
wellness consultation services. She acts as a consultant with the
North Carolina Orange County Department of Aging and manages a wellness
screening program that is provided within the senior center system.
She currently serves as the Chair of the Health Promotion and Wellness
Special Interest Group of the APTA Section on Geriatrics. She is the
Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator for the Special Olympics,Inc. FUNfitness
screening program and is responsible for monitoring the implementation
and coordination of the screens in 6 states. She has also coordinated
and participated in FUNfitness Train the trainer sessions held nationally
and internationally and served as a consultant to Special Olympics
Inc. at three Special Olympic World Game events. Vicki is currently
Chief Delegate of the North Carolina Physical Therapy Association.
She is also an active member of the NCPTA reimbursement committee
and is a recognized expert on Medicare reimbursement. She has lectured
locally and nationally on reimbursement and wellness practice topics.
Vicki has broad experience in practicing in many settings including
home health and long term care. She managed therapy services in the
long term care environment for three years. |
