Telephone Happy summer! Summer's a great time to try new things, and we've done just that here at Dynamic Learning Online, Inc. We're proud to announce the completion of our first live audio conference!

The premiere in this series of audio conferences was entitled Preventing Denials through a Successful QA Program for Documentation, and was presented by the newest addition to the Dynamic team of instructors, Kate Brewer, PT, MBA, GCS. Ms. Brewer is currently the President and Owner of Progressive Rehab Solutions, Vice-President of Greenfield Rehabilitation Agency, a veteran healthcare professional and a nationally recognized author and expert in reimbursement. She has also signed on to develop a series of audio conferences, as well as a ten-part rehabilitation documentation series due to be released in the fall.

"We are so pleased to be responding to the needs of rehabilitation
therapists across the country by offering this service!"

~ Melissa Cohn, President
Dynamic Learning Online, Inc.

This audio conference consisted of a one-hour long slide presentation, made available for download to registered students on the Dynamic Learning Online website, where they were also eligible to receive a certificate for professional contact hours. At the close of the presentation, Ms. Brewer held a 30-minute question and answer session to discuss documentation requirements under Medicare B, quality assurance, and coding.

The conference is currently being developed further, and will soon be available as a conventional online course, complete with an audio recording of the live conference. If you missed it the first time, check back soon for another chance to benefit from a true expert in the field of reimbursement!

We have a few other things to keep watch for as well:
  • Kate Brewer's upcoming ten-part series, Documentation Essentials for Successful Billing and Reimbursement for Rehabilitation Services, is set to available to students in the fall of 2008
  • A collaboration with I.D.E.A.S., Inc. that has produced four new courses on Home Modifications for individuals with dementia, sensory impairments, motor impairments and/or those who are at risk for falls
  • A new "Mandatory Continuing Education" category in our course library to help you easily locate required courses
Thanks for being loyal customers of Dynamic Learning Online, Inc. We're working hard to make your learning experience easy and fun! If ever you have suggestions or comments as to how we can improve our services, please let us know!

Warm Summertime Regards,
